Who are we?
All-Ukrainian Charitable Fund “To You” (ACF 2U) was founded and started its activities in 2013. The projects implemented by the fund are aimed primarily at helping the socially vulnerable, the poor and the lonely. Much attention is paid to the inter-confessional and inter-ethnic dialogue. Round tables and discussions with participation of representatives of various religious confessions and faith groups take place.
One of the most ambitious projects is Social Repairs Project, which operates in Kiev, Cherkassy, Chernigov, and Zhitomir Regions.
In addition to that ACF 2U provides assistance to the IDPs from Eastern Ukraine, where war conflict is in progress for the last 5 years, schools and public hospitals.
A lot has been done to affiliate young and middle age people into care about golden age people.
Projects for Jewish and Non-Jewish Holidays are spreading throughout the country and involve more and more people both volunteers and those who are visited).); also we managed to provide assistance to the local state hospitals and educational institutions, where a number IDPs are treated as well. Schools and kindergartens received special equipment including a gym.
Humanitarian aid has been distributed among the most impoverished people throughout the country.
Very special place in Fund activities is occupied by Righteous Gentiles. These people receive different types of assistance for free: partial home repairs, funds are allocated to cover prescribed medicines and expensive medical services, food sets are provided… They are honored guests at all public events organized by ACF 2U. Every year Kiev Mayor’s House in cooperation with ACF 2U conducts a reception for these outstanding people. The reception takes place at Mayor’s House and is always attended by Kiev Mayor, diplomats, politicians, public and religious leaders.
In 2018, ACF 2U arranged the presentation of the documentary film “Shoah. Shot Childhood”, dedicated to the tragic events of World War II, at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Among the guests of the event there were not only the Righteous, but also people’s deputies, diplomats, religious leaders of various denominations. Twice a year the foundation together with the Kyiv City State Administration holds meetings with representatives of the Kyiv City Hall and once a year we conduct Mayor’s Reception for the Righteous at Kyiv Mayor’s House.
During the quarantine related to the COVID-19 pandemic, ACF 2U has not stopped its activities and was in constant contact with lonely Fund’s clients. During this period, all 2,300 clients received various types of assistance. Psychological support hotline was launched, involving professional psychologists and psychiatrists.
With the active participation of volunteers, those in need from Kyiv and the region, Mykolayiv, Myrhorod, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and other cities receive food sets, medicines, protective means. The fund purchased antiseptics, protective masks, gloves, respirators, and thermometers for state hospitals.
ACF 2U is an example of a non-political organization that provides assistance regardless of creed or political preference. The Fund is ready for a dialogue and cooperation with the representatives of various nationalities and organizations that are interested in improvement of quality of life in Ukraine.
