World War II ended almost 77 years ago.

The righteous and the saved leave this world. Even their children are not young anymore. Their memories and experience are very valuable. The idea of the project is to show the broad strata of the population of Ukraine what we have today and what we could lose if the Nazis won and people were indifferent in those days.

The project “I wouldn’t have been born if…” consists of a series of posters placed throughout the country and on this web platform, as well as short films – stories about the children and grandchildren of the saved and the Righteous.

Each poster represents one real person or family.
